    05) was observed in the intervention group compared to the control group in staff knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy, belief, and motivation. Further, our result showed a significant improvement from 53.6 ± 24.3 to 83.6 ± 11.5 in the behavioral intention toward HCWM practice. This work provides evidence of the effectiveness of the HAM as a guide in which the potential determinates that influence an individual’s behavioral intention toward medical waste practice were identified and described. Mammography screening is generally accepted in women aged 50-69, but the balance between benefits and harms remains controversial in other age groups. This study systematically reviews these effects to inform the European Breast Cancer Guidelines.

We searched PubMed, EMBASE and Cochrane Library for randomised clinical trials (RCTs) or systematic reviews of observational studies in the absence of RCTs comparing invitation to mammography screening to no invitation in women at average breast cancer (BC) risk. We extracted data for mortality, BC stage, mastectomy rate, chemotherapy provision, overdiagnosis and false-positive-related adverse effects. We performed a pooled analysis of relative risks, applying an inverse-variance random-effects model for three age groups (<50, 50-69 and 70-74). GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation) was used to assess the certainty of evidence.

We identified 10 RCTs including 616,641 women aged 38-75. Mammography reduced BC mortality in wo effects is less clear, conditional recommendations will be more likely, together with shared decision-making.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most leading cause of mortality worldwide. Changes in diet can reduce subclinical cardiac injury and inflammation in parallel with reductions of other CVD risk factors.

The study aimed to evaluate the beneficial effect of the DASH diet versus usual healthy dietary advice (HDA) on the estimated risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD).

It was a prospective interventional nonrandomized controlled study, conducted on 92 participants attending Family Medicine Outpatient Clinics, Cairo University. The participants were assigned to 2 dietary groups, the DASH and HDA groups, for 12 weeks. All subjects were subjected to anthropometric measurement, assessment of lipid profile, and the estimated cardiovascular risk pre-and post-intervention.

The estimated cardiovascular risk was reduced significantly in both the DASH and HDA groups, with no statistically significant difference between the 2 groups regarding the risk reduction. By comparing the percent change between pre and post-intervention in both DASH and HDA groups, the following are the results BMI dropped by 6.5% versus 2.5%, systolic blood pressure decreased by 6.9% and 4.1%, fasting blood sugar dropped by 5.5% and 3.1%, total cholesterol dropped by 5.2% and 3.1%, LDL dropped by 8.2%, and 3.1%, and HDL increased by 8.2% and 2.4%, in DASH and HDA groups, respectively.

Both the DASH diet and HDA are associated with improvement in CVD risk factors. Although better risk factors decline with the DASH diet, there was no statistically significant difference between the 2 groups.

FGIDs can have a significant impact on the patient’s quality of life by interfering with daily functioning. The primary objective of the current paper was to identify short-term educational interventions for patients diagnosed with FGIDs and medically unexplained symptoms. This is with the aim of assessing its effectiveness on patient’s quality of life and symptom severity. The second objective was to establish the current educational programmes and training opportunities available for physicians working with this subgroup of patients. This is in order to ascertain if these could change negative physician beliefs and attitudes. Databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar were searched from November to February 2018. A total of eight interventions were found which were evaluated using the Behavioural Change Techniques Taxonomy. Short-term educational programmes combining the use of lectures and practical sessions were found to be the most effective in improving patient quality of life and symptom severity. Managing patient exposure through the use of problem-based learning was considered the most effective teaching method for trainee physicians and could help to prevent the internalisation of negative attitudes. Definite conclusions about the effectiveness of patient and physician interventions are difficult to ascertain due to the small number of studies found and the high risk of bias. Future research should focus on providing a more unified approach to the management of this subgroup of patients.

Considering the importance of entrepreneurship and the impact of burnout on workers’ health, this study aims to explore the presence of burnout in entrepreneurs and the interaction of hardy personality (HP) in this process.

The sample included 255 Spanish entrepreneurs. Occupational factors, working hours, labour immersion, HP, burnout syndrome (i.e. Emotional exhaustion, Depersonalization and Lack of accomplishment) and burnout consequences were assessed.

Descriptive analysis showed that entrepreneurs had low levels of occupational factors, burnout syndrome and consequences. Hierarchical regression exploratory results indicated that working hours, labour immersion, and Emotional exhaustion were the most relevant predictors of the consequences. Besides, mediation models with PROCESS macro (v.3.0) highlighted the indirect effect of occupational factors and showed that emotional exhaustion was the only component of burnout that mediated in between the predictors and the consequences. As well, HP moderated the relationship between occupational factors and emotional exhaustion.
